Hunting Puny Creatures with Emik S30 (L) close to Port Atlantis on Calypso

Waiting for Planet Arkadia launch I am hunting Puny mobs around Port Atlantis. Before and after updates is very likely to have bad loot return, so it is good idea to scale down your hunts or mining or crafting. How much can you loose if you hunt 1 hour with ammo for 10 PED. Even with less than 50% loot return you will still be better than others. And many people reported bad returns in hunting and especialy in mining after the last big update. But for my surprise my loot return was litle over 100%. I am going to try hunt puny mobs again, but with different gun next time.

Killing 325 Shinkiba with Kinetic Attack Chip I (L) close to Port Atlantis on Calypso

I got two globals on Rocktropia and the music is great, but the new Club Neverdie with no textures on the walls, the promised unlimited guns that turnout not to drop, the promised event that I was planing to win that Sunday and there was no event, and the constant crashing when I get to some town made me come back to Calypso few weeks earlier than planned. I was even going to start the escape the prison mission, but I just couldn't get to the mission broker because the too many mobs around it make me crash after 1-2 seconds.

But enough about RockTropia, other unexpected problem was when I got home with loot from two different planets. Half of the loot is the same and still I had problem finding space for all my stuff. The limit to the inventory is 500, in addition to that I have 500 item points in the shops and all this wasn't enough so I had to put some stuff in my apartment to be able to run again. So the last two days I spend my time in game trying to find place for all my stuff. I bought a lot of boxes and that raised the price of small boxes with 2 PED on the auction. And I don't want to think what will happen when I travel to Arkadia and come back.

I started hunting with Kinetic Attack Chip I (L) and after 5 months of hunting I discovered that the Kinetic and Electric chips use the same profession - Electro Kinetic. This means that if you want to use big Electric chip you can skill up with small Kinetic chip and vice verse.

First thing when I came back to Calypso was to visit the Chug's Hideout and the Hangars and get all new teleporters there. And the second was to go hunt the new creature on Calypso - Shinkiba. I killed 325 Shinkiba and now I am at 3502/5000 Shinkiba mission.  I was lucky to loot 5 pieces of the new Colonizer armor. 50 PEDs last for very long time if you hunt with Kinetic Attack Chip I (L). The healing cost is too big, but I don't mind since I am skilling up. And the chip decay is big, but then loot is big too. 50 PED ammo with big decay on the chips made my loot go up to 58.64 PED or 117.28 % TT return before decay. Just one more hunt that makes you think eco don't mean anything in Entropia Universe.

Killing 287 Daikiba for the Iron Challenge with the TT Powerfist Castorian EnKnuckles-A close to Port Atlantis on Calypso

I finally finished my goal to hunt Daikiba with every TT weapon. The last hunt today was with Castorian EnKnuckles-A. I did all hunts with all TT weapons maxed on damage, but not on hit (only opalo is maxed at both). I will redo them when I max all TT weapons on both damage and hit.
My next goal is to max Breer M4a (L) at Ranged Laser (Dmg): 15 and the goal after that is to unlock the hidden skill Ranged Damage Assessment at Ranged Laser (Dmg): 18.
Today I killed 287 Daikiba. I was at 2880/5000 that morning and after that hunt I was at 3167/5000. Got 86.36% TT return and two Daikiba skulls.

Hunting Daikiba with the TT pistol M2100 and no armor is pain in the ass. You have to search for the young, be careful with the mature and run away from the old. Hunting without armor may be it is good for skilling in paramedic, but the healing cost is big with that weak gun.
Today AxeMurderer killed 119 Daikiba with light weapon cells for 20 PED. He was at 1466/5000 that morning and after that hunt he was at 1585/5000.

Killing 615 Daikiba for the Iron Challenge with SGA Sollomate Opalo close to Port Atlantis on Calypso

After some hard thinking AxeMurderer decided to complete the Iron Challenge missions, starting with the Daikiba Mission. He was at 565/5000 that morning and after that hunt he was at 1180/5000. He unequipped all his armor and got his fancy pants, shirt, shoes and gullaldr shades. That way he will minimize the armor decay and gain some Paramedic skills with his crafted medical kit.
He grabbed his Sollomate Opalo, SGA Edition, tier 1.6 and 1 000 000 Medium Weapon Cells for 100 PED enough to make 5000 shots. With so much ammunitions he was able to hunt Daikiba for 4 hours. He killed 615 Daikiba and got really good return. When he got back at the South Swamp Camp he made some calculations:
To kill all 16600 Daikiba needed for completion of all Daikiba Iron Challenges it will take 108 hours of hunting them close to South Swamp Camp. And he will need ammunition for 2700 PEDs. If the average return rate is 90%, he will loose 270 PEDs hunting them and he will gain a lot of skills. Also they loot Animal Muscle Oil and he need a lot of it for the crafting of Simple I Conductors.
Armed with that knowledge AxeMurderer was determined to complete the Iron Challenges using all kind of weapons. For Daikiba he will use the other TT weapons like: M2100; Castorian Survival EnBlade-A; Castorian Combat EnBlade-A; Castorian EnKnuckles-A.

Hunting Daikiba with First Gen Electric Attack Chip II close to Port Atlantis on Calypso

After playing with the Cryogenic Chips I decided to try the Electric Chips. Armed with First Gen Electric Attack Chip II I started killing Daikiba, just to get some skills and to advance in my Daikiba mission. I still don't have the skills to use it on maximum, but it is hard to find low level Electric Attack Chips and I decided to skill with this one. I use Emik S30 (L) just for the final shot so I don't waste too much ammo with the chip. I am not skilled enough to use it too, but it's good way to get some skills in Ranged BLP. I changed some of my armor parts with the Gremlin armor which offers very good protection against most creatures. So I was more than prepared to go there alone. And the loot was not bad - almost on profit. The decay was too much. Probably I used too expensive armor and MindForce implant.

Hunting Daikiba and Cornundacauda with Cryogenic Attack Chip I at Port Atlantis and Orthos West Mound on Calypso

Daikiba
This is a hunt before Daikiba were changed to Shinkiba.
This time I decided to try hunting with MindForce chip. I picked up small Cryogenic Attack Chip I (L) and went for some Daikibas just to skill up. I knew the loot from Daikibas is not good and my skills in Cryogenic Attack are not enough even for this chip, so I was prepared to loose peds here. The chip does almost the same damage as my opalo, but the fire rate is amost half. The things will improve a lot when I max it up. But one thing is sure. Hunting with chip looks better then hunting with gun. Later I switched to some Cornundacaudas and got some armor from them. Again I was surprised at the good loot that day. Today I bought teleportation chip II which allows me to jump from Port Atlantis Mall to that Daikiba valley with just one jump and will be useful in hunts at distance from the revival.
