This crafting run is perfect example how globals can change your returns drastically. My input cost was 21.83 and the output was 20.82 making my return little below 100%, but with the global 56 PED my return skyrocketed to 351.95%

The summer is over and it is time to get back on the horse. I was spending the time skilling and now I can use on max Isis LR53 (L). I also skilled a lot in mining and what is important for crafting my Mechanical Engineer level got from 0 to 2.83. Not a pro level, but enough to give me 90% success rate when manufacturing Basic Filters. If you missed what is improved in the crafting system here it is:
Crafting System Improvements:
A completely new and improved user interface for crafting has been implemented, which dramatically streamlines the process of constructing items.
The new interface automatically scans the avatar inventory and storage for blueprints, resources and materials, allowing items to be constructed without the need for dragging input materials into the crafting machine. Other exciting features of this new interface include-
A single comprehensive overview of all blueprints carried in inventory and storage, with the number of attempts possible displayed based on currently owned resources and materials.
Ability to customize the exact number of attempts to be made on the currently selected blueprint.
Ability to sell crafted items directly to the Trade Terminal, with optional thresholds for minimum/maximum condition.
Ability to set custom thresholds for the use of residue to improve the final condition of crafted items.
Integrated access to auction buy and sell orders to assist in quickly acquiring necessary input materials from the market.
Detailed log of each crafting session.

Comparing this crafting run with my last crafting run with Basic Filters, I have a lot more crafting skills now, but my TT return is less (76.15% now and 85.89% previous crafting log). Last time I looted 7 BluePrints, now 10 and all are different than the last time, but still nothing new or rare.
With all the Lysterium Stone and Crude Oil I drilled on Planet Arkadia there was only one thing I can do now. Craft some basic filters. Perfect for gaining crafting skills. And I have almost 20 000 from each resource. I started with 10 000 clicks, but soon I realized that this will take long time to craft so I lowered the clicks to only 2 000. I looted 7 blueprints, 5 of them Arkadian blueprints and with the MU they have I am braking even with this crafting run.

Skilling on crafting armor. Not good idea. Only 56% TT return. And the Settler Shin Guards are TT food, but the crafting ingredients have 105-110% MU and that makes my losses even greater.
Today I discovered that if you hover the mouse bellow the success rate bar you will see your success rate in percentages, not just as bar.
Crafting is hard job and I will get back to hunting until I unlock the hidden skill Ranged Damage Assessment. I need just 2 more levesls in Ranged Laser (Dmg).
I know that crafting is expensive and should stay away from it if I want my PEDs to last longer, but with all that materials in my storage I just can't resist. I had 450 PED of Wool Cloth and decided to make some Large Striped Cotton Fabric Texture. I get tired of just typing that name. Surprisingly that crating run lasted only 1 hour. I expected it to be a lot longer since my 130 PED crafting run of General Leather Texture took 2 hours and 30 minutes. Definitely hunting with Opalo will make your PEDs last a lot longer than crafting. One hour and 105 PED loss. With that you can hunt Daikiba for days. And you actually play there and here you just look at the crafting machine with your back facing the room.
But I always think that it will be more expensive if I sell my loot now lower than the market value and byu it back later, when I deside to start crafting, for market value. Of course I can be wrong, but for now I will craft different things with the materials I have just to see how it is going.
I also looted five blueprint with 7-8 PED mark up, but still not enought to brake even. Now I will try to sell them and also I have 225 PED of Large Striped Cotton Fabric Texture. Let's hope I will get 6-7 PED mark up on that too.

It was time for AxeMurderer to use his brain and not just his muscles and weapons to advance in this universe. It was time to read some books and try to understand how this Construction Machine in front of him works. He knew that some old farts around here manufacture powerful weapons and armor and even vehicles and sell them for shitload of peds. He wanted some of that money for him. He wanted to steal their glory and make them suffer by selling cheaper to the poor noobs. But he knew that this road is not easy. He was prepared for the days of horror.
AxeMurderer collected all books and BluePrints he could find and looked at his inventory. There he sow Animal Eye Oil and Animal Muscle Oil and he decided to manufacture some Simple I Conductors. With fingers crossed he entered the Auction at the Emerald Lakes Mall and inserted the BluePrint and the ingredients into the Crafting Machine. Click - click - click ...
