Arena Commander Sizzle Trailer

It seems all bugs are cleared and Arena Commander may go live next week. The team has also put together a short teaser showing 100% in-game footage where Arena Commander’s AI battling each other in real time! Let's hope some day we will have space mobs that looks and fight like that. BTW you can tell Chris Roberts produced and directed some big movies like Lord of War and Lucky Number Slevin because this trailer remind me of the new 2014 Godzila trailer. And I have to admit that this looks like HD movie quiality. I will defenately play that game and maybe even buy new PC just for it when it is fully ready.

Planet Cyrene comming in the next 3 monts

From the first unofficial trailer preview of Planet Cyrene made by Ed Robles the creative director of Planet Cyrene and owner of Digital Scryers we can see that planet Cyrene will be released in the first quarter of year 2012. The video is short, but long enougth to see what we can expect from Panet Cyrene - cool armors, rich environment, interesting cities and kick-ass creatures.
The official trailer video is done by a real pro named Mr. Rod and it will be much more detailed/pro, followed by an extensive ad campaign and marketing. In this video you cannot see the new gameplay systems as well as all the great custom interactions Cyrene team have made with the existing systems provided. As time gets closer and closer, Mindark has been revealing new and revised systems. These are the systems that Digital Scryers needed to launch and get Cyrene where they wanted it to be at launch. EU as a platform will become more amazing for all Planet Partners as they pick and choose what systems they decide to focus on (thereby separating the planets even more but keep within the same platform). Exciting times are ahead! This video was made for all the fans who have been keeping up with Cyrene (as Ed promised to keep them informed along the way with sneak peeks and behind the scenes previews).

Beacons are back in Entropia Universe

Beacon Missions

Beacons are back! Gather your friends and society mates for an exciting new challenge.

To give participants a chance to try out and become familiar with the format of the new Beacon Missions, complimentary Level 2 Robot Beacon items will be distributed to participants possessing any of the old beacon items. For example, if an avatar has one Level 4 beacon and one Level 6 beacon in storage, they will receive two complimentary Level 2 beacons.

How to enter and complete the new beacon mission areas:

1.Form a team with fellow colonists (4 - 12 members). The team leader must be carrying the Robot Beacon in carried inventory.
2.Team leader uses the Robot Beacon to locate the robot gate.
3.Team leader activates the robot gate and enters, followed by the rest of the team.
4.Team must fight its way through the levels and destroy the main boss before the timer runs out. If the boss is not defeated before the timer expires, the beacon mission will end, and the team returned to the Planet.
5.Once the boss is defeated, a new timer begins. Find the loot stored in containers throughout the levels before the timer expires and the robot ship explodes! Any containers unopened once the timer expires will be lost!

New features and changes compared to the old Beacon system:

-Beacons missions vary in difficulty levels depending on the TT value of the Robot Beacon item.
-Be advised - Robot enemies inside the beacon areas may be much tougher than those encountered on the planet. Be sure to bring a strong enough team to complete the mission!
-There are checkpoints inside the beacon areas where team members will revive if killed.
-Team members can now exit and enter the beacon mission area (Note: A player must be a member of the beacon team in order to re-enter).
-If the team is somehow disbanded or you are kicked from the team after entering the beacon area, you can still open containers and receive loot.
-Loot from containers is now automatically shared equally between all members who have entered the beacon area.
-Some containers hold more loot than others. Make sure to find and open all of the containers to receive the maximum possible loot!
-All team members no longer need to visit the last room to be able to open containers.
-Watch out for automated defensive mechanisms and potentially dangerous traps!

Entropia Universe Space vs EVE Online Incarna

If you look for game similar to Entropia Universe. The closest you will get if you don't count the RCE (real cash economy) element is Eve Online. Both games are Massively multiplayer online role-playing games with age restriction over 12 years. In both game you can choose from different professions to make money and progress in the game. Both in-game economies are open and player-driven, with the difference that in Entropia Universe you can exchange your in-game money for real dollars, where in EVE Online you can't.

MindArk just anounced that space will be available in Entropia Universe on 21 of June 2011. This is the same date when EVE Online will get the expansion Incarna. The most important part of that expansion is the ability for pilots to step out of their pods and explore the Space Stations throughout the galaxy. Walking in stations was first announced in 2006. The title Incarna was given as the official patch name during the 2009 Fanfest, as part of an update revealing the release to be sometime in 2010. We can see than not only MindArk, but other game companies too has dificulty of keeping the primised release dates.

Some of the features of EVE Online Incarna will be:

-Step out of your pod and into your own personal capsuleer suite, filled with the tools and toys that every pilot's pad should have.
-Strategic Data Feeds - Sovereignty changes, incursion locations, bounties and pertinent up-to-the-minute data are only a touch of a screen away.
-News Feeds - The latest information from Interstellar Correspondents and other major news sources scroll across your main viewscreen.
-Agents at Your Fingertips -Career agent panels and an entirely new Agent Finder have been installed in all
-Captain's Quarters. Selecting missions has become a more convenient and more streamlined process.
-Planetary Interaction Panel - One-touch convenient access and management of your planetary structures
-Walkway/Balcony - A majestic viewpoint of one of the most prized objects in the universe - your ship.

New models and animations were created for most combat and industrial turrets currently in-game. Players can now preview turret animations by clicking their image in the Show Info window.

The first space release will include the following features:
-Space travel and commodity transportation between the planets, space-stations, asteroids etc.
-PVP fighting in the entire universe except in the parking zones outside the space stations.
-A reputation system for your heroic or not so heroic deeds in space is provided.
And with every version update space life will become more complex.

Until now battles in Entropia Universe were on the ground and in EVE Online you didn't have the posibility to walk with your avatar. After 12 days this will change as Entropia Universe will offer big part of EVE gameplay and slowly with time offer all that players like in EVE Online. EVE Online will try to fight back by offering some of the gameplay of Entropia Universe, but I don't think they can beat the beauty and functionality of CryEngine and the greediness of MindArk. Soon the developer of EVE Online - CCP Games will request to become Planet Partner in Entropia Universe.

Mass Effect 3 Announce Trailer

If you like playing Entropia Universe you will like playing Mass Effect 3. Mass Effect 3 is single player Action RPG made by BioWare and pubished by Electronic Arts and it is expected to be released 2011.
I played Mass Effect 2 and it was one of the best game I have ever played. You can collect different armors and weapons. You gain skills and comlete missions and quest. You can drill for minerals and travel to different planets. Also you find your team parners and fight with them in the battles.
The game was so good that you finish it without even close the game. You just need someone to bring you food and coffee from time to time. And when you are done you can play it again with the same avatar. You can even use your avatar from Mass Effect 1 in Mass Effect 2 and then in Mass Effect 3. Nice, a?

Minecraft vs Entropia Universe

Here is another massively multiplayer online role-playing game. It is also virtual universe with a lot of freedom of what you do. Both are sandbox games. Minecraft is not real cash economy as Entropia Universe, but as Sheldon Cooper would say: "The universe is virtual, but the fun is real".
Let's begin our first battle and see what game has the better graphic. This will be hard choice.

Too bad the launch date is delayed with 1 day.
"Important Announcement - Launch is delayed
As promised, if we had any problems occur with the final build I would notify here the earliest I possibly could.
Unfortunately I have had to make a tough decision tonight to postpone the launch of Planet Arkadia due to some technical issues that have arisen in the final patch.
I am very determined that Arkadia will launch ready to go. Without the addition of the final patch some crucial content would have been missing if we proceeded with the launch. I do hope you understand that whilst unfortunate, it is far better that Arkadia launches properly rather than feeling rushed and underdone.  With the scale of the marketing planned for Arkadia, we simply have to make sure the planet makes a good first impression.
The volume of content on Arkadia is immense and will be worth the wait.
I cannot confirm when the launch has been postponed to until tomorrow, when some more tests have been run. At this point in time we are working hard to try and get it to you on Wednesday the 25th May - if we are unable to resolve the issue tomorrow, it will be delayed until Tuesday 31st May.
If we are able to launch on Wednesday, our Blueprints will not be operational at launch, they will be delayed until Tuesday 31st May. Whilst that is disappointing, I will say that the Crafters certainly have something to look forward to as there are in excess of 300 unique Blueprints going in.
I can also announce that Arkadia will have it's own Trade Terminal and Technician Terminal (including Arkadia Blueprint books). I can also announce that although rare, Moonshine has been tinkering with some weapons and has made UnL weapons that are available in mob loots.
As a small token of apology, Cyrus will release the Arkadia trailer video shortly for you to see.
I want to thank everyone who has been so supportive of Arkadia. We are very genuine in our appreciation of the community and look forward to seeing everyone at launch. Cyrus and I will be in-game on the day of launch to chat and say hi.
Sincerely,
David Dobson"
