Star Citizen - Space trading and combat simulator of the future

I just found that this game called Star Citizen is being developed and I think I must share it with the fans of Entropia Universe, because even if it's not an RCE game it is somehow similar to Entropia Universe and there is a lot to learn from it how EU can be improved in some ways. The game is currently being developed by Chris Roberts' Cloud Imperium Games Corporation, founded in 2011. Roberts' previous works include games such as Wing Commander, Privateer, Freelancer and more. It will be sandbox open universe made with CryEngine 3. May be a little like EVE Online, because you will be flying in spaceships in the open space doing trades or fighting - You could be a trader, a miner or an industrial magnate. It will be
Constantly expanding and evolving universe with updates every 2 weeks. You can play it single player (Squadron 42) or with friends like MMO.

The universe will change based on the players’ actions and adventures. The modding tools will allow players to design new ships for both submission to the persistent RSI ship dealer network or to build custom ships and items for the self-hosted multi player mode. You will be able to put different parts on your ship so it will act different. In Star Citizen, the characters are detailed at 100,000 polygons, the fighter at 300,000 and the Space Carrier 7 million! This allows unparalleled detail, making the visuals more immersive than has ever been achieved before. There will be no monthly fees. Once you buy the game you can pay it forever for free, but you can purchase some stuff ingame to help game development more without gaining any game advantage over other players. The cheapest game package I see now is the "digital scout" for 30$. This is the cheapest way to buy the game and play it forever. Probably the most funny package is the "Rear Admiral" for 275$.
The developers of the game started a crowdfunding campaign in October 2012 on both the project website and kickstarter. Both was a success.
The game is expected to be ready late 2014 or even later.
Here is the project website http://www.robertsspaceindustries.com/
